Five Things You Should Be Watching
Once again, thanks to Feji for submitting this week's picks for what you should be watching.
The Boys
Season two of The Boys just finished and after a couple questionable episodes to start season two, it picked right back up with the quality of the first and the new addition of Stormfront is just great.
Nash Bridges
A silly procedural that holds up today and soon it will be coming back on USA Network! Haha. Nash Bridges is just simple easy watching.
Easy A
A great teen romantic fake sex comedy. Easy A is fantastic and damn Tucci & Clarkson are the best teen comedy parents in history.
Inside Man
Inside Man is an overlooked Stan Lee movie with great twists and great performances. Clive Owen is also an underrated actor especially in this gem.
Rudderless
A great inspection of grief from the perspective of a parent after a school shooting, Rudderless also has great music performances. After his son dies in a school shooting his father starts playing his sons music at a local bar with young kids. Billy Crudup and Anton Yelchin are great.
Five Things You Should Be Listening To
Bloom - Daylight
Sydney post-hardcore band Bloom have released their EP In Passing. Get some screams in ya!
Propagandhi - Dear Coach's Corner
The Canadian kings of melodic thrash punk (it's a thing) have been in heavy rotation this week, thanks in part to Unscripted Moments: A Podcast About Propagandhi. The record getting the most plays, has to be Supporting Caste.
Touché Amoré - Come Heroine
Pennywise - Might Be A Dream
Sometimes you just need to listen to a classic. Straight Ahead is a classic, so it fits the bill.
Architects - Royal Beggars
Holy Hell from Architects still holds strong as one of the best heavy releases in the past few years.
Whaddaweek it was. Maybe we will do this again next week.
